What Can I Expect During a Session?

New Patient Appointment

Getting your first appointment

You can schedule your new patient appointment simply by calling me at (970) 315-7724.

I’ll get back to you within one business day.

Getting to know each other

You’re welcome to come to your first appointment on your own – or with a loved one or close friend for support.

During that first appointment, I like to provide ample time so that you and I can get to know one another without being rushed. Therefore, your first appointment will be 90 minutes long.

I’ll take this time to conduct a comprehensive review of your current symptoms, as well as your current and past psychiatric, medical, and social history. I’ll also ask you questions about family medical and mental health history.

Getting to the heart of the issue

After I’ve gathered all your background information, I’ll provide you with a thoughtful diagnosis.

We’ll then discuss appropriate treatment options. And, together, we’ll design a plan to go forward.

Then it’s your turn. Please ask any questions and voice any concerns you have.

Getting started on your journey

If we both agree on the treatment plan, then we’ll schedule a follow-up appointment.
