You can’t get here from there.
Maybe you’d love to come to the session, but it’s difficult when you live in the mountains over 40 miles away – especially if the weather is bad. Seriously. You can drive in snow, but that doesn’t mean you want to. It makes you nervous. You really can’t stand the traffic on I-25, even on a good day.
Or you live nearby, but your lunch hour isn’t long enough for a session, and you can’t take any more time off work. And while you’d love to come after work –your child’s daycare doesn’t stay open late enough. Or your childcare has proven unreliable lately.
Perhaps you’re having difficulty being around people, or obsessive compulsive disorder makes it difficult for you to get to your appointment on time.
I understand. And I’ve got you covered.
I offer the option of both in-person and telehealth appointments for clients who are living in Colorado.
It’s convenient. Traffic, distance, childcare? No problem. Telehealth solves all those problems – and more!
It’s very flexible. It saves time. It allows you to seek treatment without being seen entering an office or running into someone you know.
And it’s comfortable! No reason to dress up. Just brew your favorite cup of coffee or tea, take your shoes off, and curl up on your favorite couch or your favorite chair.
You don’t have to miss a session when you’re under the weather.
How it works
You are, of course, welcome to come to my office for your appointment. I really enjoy seeing all clients in person.
However, you have the option of having a virtual appointment.
All you need is a computer/laptop/tablet or smartphone, reliable Wi-Fi, and a comfortable and private space.
I use a HIPAA-compliant platform, which allows us to have our appointment using both real-time audio and visual.
Before your appointment, I will confidently send you a link through your patient portal where you can log on.
If you have any questions about using this system, I will be more than happy to guide you.
Whether physically or digitally, take the initial step toward healing.
I’m here to support you. Call me today at (970) 315-7724.
Downsides to telehealth:
- A telehealth appointment is not appropriate if you are experiencing a mental health emergency and require a higher level of care.
- If you are actively taking a scheduled medication (a few examples are: Adderall, Vyvanse, Concerta, Xanax, Ativan, or Clonazepam) then you will need to come to my office to see me for your first appointment. Follow-up appointments can be a mix of in-person and telehealth as we move forward.
